On May 31, 2025, the Whitehouse-Tyler Metro Track Club proudly hosted an area track meet at Legacy High School, drawing athletes aged 7 and up from across the region. The event featured elite heats in select age groups and showcased phenomenal performances, with many athletes achieving personal records and season-best times. With over 17 track teams represented-some traveling more than 100 miles to compete-alongside numerous unattached competitors, the competition was fierce and spirited. The meet welcomed an impressive 725 athletes and more than 1,600 spectators throughout the day, highlighting the growing excitement and support for youth track and field in East Texas.
